How does the rental process work?

What time can I pick up or drop off my rental(s)?
Pickup time will be confirmed with office after confirmation of your order. Items that are to be dropped off, can be done any time within the week time frame (additional costs will be charged for any additional days, the item is kept in your possession).
What time are the rentals due back?
All rentals must be returned within 48 hours of pick up. Unless otherwise arranged with an Event Rent representative, additional costs will be charged for any additional days.
Is there a rental minimum?
There is no minimum order amount. Clients can rent individual items or hire Diya Decor (sister company) to design the entire event. Visit www.diyadecor.com
What is the cancellation policy on rentals?
General Cancellation – Customer cancellations received at least 30 days prior to an event will not be subject to any additional charges beyond the original deposit amount /or/ renter will not be charged a 5% cancellation fee
The refundable amount will be determined after these fees have been deducted.
Late Cancellation – Customer cancellations made 30 days up to 7 days prior to the event date, the renter will be charged 50% of the original rental fee. The refundable amount it after these fees have been deducted.
Day of Cancellation – Events that are cancelled day of due to inclement weather will not be charged late cancellation fees – as long as the group representative contacts our offices at least 4 hours to their scheduled event start time to notify us of the weather related cancellation.
Can I change items?
If your vision has changed and you wish to omit or add items to your order – this can be done no later than 14 days before the event, and according to the item schedule.
For larger items, that require setup is that included in the price?
For larger items, set up is included in the delivery charge.
Do I need to be present to receive a delivery?
To ensure you receive everything you have rented, it is beneficial if someone is there on delivery to check the items received and notify our office of any discrepancies.
How and when should I pay?
All delivery orders, require complete payment 7 days in advance. Orders placed 7-10 days of delivery, require immediate payment. We accept Cash, Cheque, Paypal and Money Transfers.
